For a while now I have been following the gay blog ‘Hawaii Speedo Student’ – it features this really cute college guy in Hawaii who loves speedos and has a bunch of photos of himself, in his speedos of course.

He has a great collection of speedos including a bunch of AussieBums.  Hopefully we’ll see him in some DESwimwear sometime in the future.

I’ve meet a handful of fellow bloggers and I would LOVE to meet the Speedo Student for sure!!!

Just wanted to give you guys an update on a few things…..

1. Yesterday I finished running through the blogroll on here.  I made sure the blogs exist and have stuff on them that I think you guys will like to read.  I personally read a lot of the blogs on the blogroll and can recommend them.
2. If you have any blogs that you like to read please leave a comment and recommend them and I’ll check them out.
3. I’ve just added 6 new movies to SwimmerBoyz.com and while I write this I’m in the process of uploading another 4.

Today isn’t that bad a day so I’m off to the pool for a swim and then I think I’ll head down to the beach to work on my speedo tan and my book.

The rest of the week the weather isn’t looking too friendly to speedo tanning unfortunately.

For those of you who have been reading this blog for a while will know how much I love my AussieBum Portsea’s…. they are a loose pair of AussieBums that are blue.

They are also part of the reason why I started this blog way back in May 2005.  Back then I was at an end of season party and my roommates (a couple whom I thought were hot but didn’t think there was anything sexually there) invited me to join them in the steamroom of the hotel we were staying at.

I wore my AussieBum Postseas and I still get a hardon when I think back to that night.

During the days after that I started writing about that experience and when a friend of mine read it she thought that I should post things like that on a blog…. nearly 5 years later here we all are.

Anyways, I was just surfing the net this morning and I saw these pics of a guy wearing a pair of AussieBum Portsea’s.  I’ve never had a pair with the AussieBum logo on the front but I’m thinking that the next time I buy a pair I will try some with the logo on the front.

In April 2005 I started this blog.  Now 4 and a half years later I’m writing my 1,000th post.

You guys have left me 2,808 comments (which I love reading).

I didn’t keep statistics from the beginning of the blog but in the last 12 months there have been 2.25 million readers (over 6,000 readers a day).

I started writing it because I had an amazing MMF (male/male/female) threesome which really cemented my view that I was bisexual and that I wanted to pursue and explore my bisexuality.

I’m still exploring my sexuality and this blog has been a place where I can openly share my experiences, thoughts and trepidations.

There are a few thanks that I owe….

• Kip who has been my tech off sider.  Nothing would ever work with out him.
• To all those other blogs who share links with me – that is what blogging is all about.
• Will – for a whole bunch of my bisexual experiences.
• My other sexual partners.  Some have known about this blog and some haven’t – I hope I have protected your privacy when it has been required.
• You guys.  Thanks for understanding my need for privacy in keeping some details close to my chest.  Thanks for your feedback and discussion on soooo many subjects.  And special thanks to all those readers who support my ‘commerical sites’ – your support allows me to continue writing this blog and withouth you guys this blog would not exist.

I really have enjoyed writing this blog and I’m looking forward to the next 1,000 posts.

My tickets are all booked, I paid my first months rent and now all I have to do is wait and clean the house – aaaggghhhhhh.

I was talking to a friend of mine ‘S’ who lives in Sydney last night and I was thinking about the gay bloggers that I know who live in Sydney.  There is Brenton from Aussielicious.com.au who seems like a really nice guy.  There is Shannon who recently moved to Sydney as well and there is ‘S’ who writes his blog ‘Ohzone‘ sporatically (I think Brenton and ‘S’ might make a cute couple and they are both always saying that they can’t find a steady boyfriend).

Brenton and Shannon are both surf club (life saving) members and walk in the Gay and Lesbian Marti-Gras in the Gay Lifesavers float.  I was a lifeguard growing up (they called us ‘nippers’), I got my bronze medallion and had to do patrol shifts.  I’m not sure I really want to go back to that side of things but growing up an uncle of mine was a member of the same club I was and he was part of the surf boat team (year the guys who pull their speedos up their butt crack).  That side of being a ‘clubbie’ sounds like good fun and would be a good way to meet some blokes.

It is too nice a day to spend all of it inside so I’m off for a walk and then I have a mountain of work to do.
