I don’t have any tips on this, I’m afraid, but good luck in finding them!

I got mine in Ireland several years back (it was probably ‘03-’04 or so), and even though they’re just the basic black ones with the three white stripes (as your second to last photo above), I love them to death. I wore them when I was taking swimming lessons over there, much to the chagrin of the people in my class, I think!

So, I hope it works out for you in finding them! (I was recently in Portland, Oregon, and apparently Adidas world headquarters is there, and I wondered if it would be easier to find other/more Adidas suits down there as a result…Didn’t get a chance to look, though, alas.)

I understand the appeal - I have four of these (navy/yellow stripes, black/white stripes, blue/white diagonal stripes, black/red&white stripes). I always get mine in Germany - most sporting goods stores there sell them year round there, but you can find them on Ebay if you type in “Adidas swim” or “badehose” or “badeslip”

The Adidas swimsuits tend to fit a bit larger than a Speedo-brand size… so if you like a snug fit, stay on the lower end of a size.

Size 2 in Germany = 152 International = 28″ USA/Can/UK
Size 3 in Germany = 164 International = 30″ USA/Can/UK
Size 4 in Germany = 172 International = 32″ USA/Can/UK
